How You Can Help

The Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry could not exist without the generous support of the local community and our volunteers. We are always in need of non-perishable foods and volunteer help.

Did you know?

The Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry distributed more than one million pounds of food in 2012 to those less fortunate in our community? We do this with a large number of dedicated volunteers, a volunteer board and only three part-time paid staff members.

Did you know?

Los Angeles County is considered the hunger capital of our nation, with over 8% of our residents considered food insecure?

  • > More than 16% of the households in the City of Santa Clarita earn less than $29,999 per year? - on the City of Santa Clarita web site
  • > 43% of the clients of The Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry are children?
  • > 11% of our clients are Senior Citizens, live on fixed incomes and are faced with the choice whether to purchase the medications they require or the food they need?
