Thank you for visiting the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry. Our mission is to alleviate hunger throughout the community. We accomplish this with a dynamic group of volunteers who source donations, package nutritious food to stretch a family's food supply and distribute that food to qualifying residents.

Our ultimate goal is to meet the current and future hunger needs of our neighbors in need and ensure self-sufficiency through active partnerships with other organizations throughout the community.

Julia Lombardi tied the score with a two-run double in the seventh inning. She was 2-for-3 and drove in three runs in the game.

Keeley Walsh put the Wildcats over the top with a two-run double in the ninth inning. She was 3-for-5.

One Lane Open On Highway 14 As Overturned Big Rig Backs Up Southbound Traffic

A big rig carrying over 39,000 pounds of meat overturned on its side after colliding with another vehicle on Highway 14 just south of Sand Canyon at approximately 4:10AM this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. Both vehicles suffered significant damage, and emergency crews were called to treat injuries at the scene.

The collision blocked the number 2 and number 3 lanes, causing the CHP issued a SigALERT at 4:30AM until further notice.

The new boss was determined to demonstrate his decision making ability and wanted to immediately take action to rid the company of all slackers.

On a tour of the facilities, the CEO noticed a guy leaning on a wall. The room was full of workers and he wanted to let them know that he meant business.
